Your partner toolkit
A useful message, a clear disclosure, and your unique link.
Before you share
- Wait for partner approval and any required brokerage or employer permission.
- Copy your full referral URL from your partner workspace. Replace every [YOUR REFERRAL LINK] below. Do not invent a tracking code.
- Open the link in a fresh browser session and confirm it reaches the correct website. Keep its referral parameter when sharing.
- Place the compensation disclosure next to the recommendation and link. On social media, keep it visible before text is collapsed. For video, disclose in the video too.
- Send only through channels you are permitted to use. Commercial emails need your accurate sender identity, valid postal address and working opt-out. Do not send unsolicited bulk texts.
A new device, private browsing, cleared cookies or privacy settings can break attribution. Do not promise cross-device tracking or guaranteed earnings. Never share customer account or property records.

Brief landlord checklist
A starting point for record review, not a complete legal-compliance checklist or certification.
- Match the property address and City property account number to the rental you own or manage.
- Review rental-license status and expiration in the official City system.
- Review open L&I violations and any unsafe or imminently dangerous designation. Read the actual notices and deadlines.
- Review published lead-certification records and confirm coverage and applicability for each unit.
- Confirm current-tenancy Certificate of Rental Suitability and required tenant disclosures directly; public data may be incomplete or delayed.
- Confirm the owning entity's Commercial Activity License, tax standing and other requirements with the appropriate City offices.
- Save dated records and set reminders. Seek qualified advice for legal questions, repairs or inspections.
