Philly Rental Compliance is an information and software-workflow service. We report what supported City of Philadelphia public records show about your property and organize owner-provided information. What we actually do is organize the public records the City already publishes. The City of Philadelphia posts rental-license, violation, unsafe-structure, lead-certification, and parcel-linked activity-license data through its own tools; we keep the source and the time we read it so you can review what we show for yourself. The City's published tax data carries current balances only as area totals, never per parcel, and a property's balance is on the Philadelphia Tax Center, so that is one we point you to rather than read. When a question needs an official answer, the City's records and decisions control, not ours.

Independence also means showing uncertainty instead of filling it with a confident interpretation. While we are still reviewing a rule, we hold back our explanation of it and keep the official links and the plain facts from the record in view.
