Is Philly Rental Compliance affiliated with the City?
No. Philly Rental Compliance is an independent information and monitoring service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the City of Philadelphia, and nothing we produce is a City record, a City determination, or a legal certification.
Philly Rental Compliance is an information and software-workflow service. We report what supported City of Philadelphia public records show about your property and organize owner-provided information. We are not a law firm, filing service, property manager, or inspector, and we do not provide legal advice. For legal questions, consult a licensed Pennsylvania attorney.
What we actually do is organize supported public records the City already publishes. The City of Philadelphia posts rental-license, violation, unsafe-structure, parcel-tax, and parcel-linked activity-license data through its own tools; we preserve the source and checked-at time so you can independently review what we show. When a question needs an official answer, the City's records and decisions control, not ours.
Independence also means showing uncertainty instead of filling it with a confident interpretation. If current accountable source review is incomplete, the affected rule-dependent explanation is withheld while official links and neutral source facts remain available.
The City of Philadelphia controls its own records, reviews, and processing times. We report what the City's public data shows; we cannot and do not guarantee City outcomes or timelines.
